Why we do not put a number of weeks on the page
A fixed figure would be convenient, but it would be wrong in half the cases. With us, delivery time depends on three things: whether the item is in stock, whether it is a variant with a stand, and whether goods are currently inbound. Instead of an invented blanket figure, here is how to read it yourself.
The stock shown on the product page is real
The availability you see in the shop comes from the same system we pick from — there is no second, flattering stock figure. What is shown as available is on the shelf and generally goes out the same or the next working day.
Where it takes longer — and why
Sets with a stand
Lamp and stand are separate items shipped together. If either is short, the set waits. If you are in a hurry, it is worth asking whether we send the lamp ahead and follow up with the stand.
Individual colours and strengths
A series is not equally available throughout. Grey is the most common version; green and white run in smaller quantities. The same applies to 8 dioptres compared with 3 and 5. If the colour does not matter to you but the delivery time does, tell us — often the same lamp is available immediately in a different version.
Spare parts for older series
Not all of these are held in stock. Here a brief enquiry is faster than ordering blind.
Larger quantities
For commercial purchases beyond a few units, it is better to ask in advance than to order and hope. More on this in the article for business and tenders.
What really saves you time
An email of three lines — item, quantity, required date. We will then tell you bindingly what is possible, instead of you placing an order that ends up waiting. With us that is not a special route but the usual process for anything beyond a single lamp.
If an order takes longer than expected
Then we contact you — with the reason, not with a standard phrase. You then decide:
- wait, if the date works
- take an alternative — different colour, different version, comparable series
- partial delivery, if part of the order is urgent
- cancel, if it no longer suits
A word on marketplaces
Items bought through Amazon, eBay or Kaufland run through those platforms' processes and deadlines. For questions about the goods themselves — availability of a version, the right spare part — you can still write to us directly. For that we do not need a case number, only the model number.
